The Bundesliga game between Borussia Mönchengladbach and FC Bayern has to start later than planned. Because the German record champions from Munich were held up by a traffic jam on the way to the stadium, the game will start at 3:45 p.m. instead of 3:30 p.m.
The guests from Bavaria announced this to X. The former top game in the Bundesliga is the duel between the bottom of the table and the leaders on the eighth matchday.
On the pitch you won’t have the feeling that it’s a game of first against last, said coach Vincent Kompany. The duel still has a lot of tradition.
Jonas Urbig is in the Bayern goal for the away game. Substitute goalkeeper Urbig should get match practice because he has to represent captain Manuel Neuer in the DFB Cup on Wednesday in Cologne. Neuer is missing from the cup.
