Yle signed a contract with the BBC again.

Yle has signed a contract with the British public broadcasting company. Due to its merits, BBC content will also be seen on Yle for the next three years.

Some examples of these series are given. They include, for example, documentary series Open nature: Wonderful Asia, Free Nelson Mandela and On the road with the dinosaurs. Series are also mentioned Blackshore, Separations and divorces, Belfast Police and Lynleywhich starts today. The police series is a new interpretation by the author of Elizabeth George created by a detective character who has previously investigated crimes in our series Commissioner Lynley.

In Lynley’s opening case, the fate of a man found dead on the island is investigated. At least he is said to have been interested in younger women, even though he was married. Over
Anne-Helena is not the only one Lynley-self-confessed fan. At least they belong to the same group Sliver, Sari, Nope, Lilli and Tiina. Life, Pippa and the partners thank Yle for their cooperation with the BBC.
