Attorney General Patrick Boyen subsequently demanded seven years in prison: ‘a punishment with perspective’. “I will accept my punishment and make the best of it,” concluded Nora Ramzi herself. The jury and the court sentenced her to 10 years in prison, three more than requested. Chairman Jo Daenen finally gave an encouraging message to the mother of four.
