The song of my life – program host Katja Ståhl will not be seen on the program on Saturday. Ståhl is ill, so the broadcast will feature a busy presenter, confirmed to Iltalehte from the program’s production.
– Katja is on sick leave and we hope that she can recover in peace at least this weekend, producer Samu Reijonen comment.
Also The song of my life – program’s Eurovision-themed special episode will be recorded next Monday.
Reijonen previously told Iltalehti that the recordings of the special episode can no longer be transferred, so in that episode as well, Ståhl’s place will be replaced by a boring host. The episode will be published in January, then the guests will be Erika Vikman, Marion Rung, Teemu Keisteri, Käärijä and Mr. Lordi.
– Two different people are seen at Ståhl’s farm. One on Saturday and one on Monday. We agreed with both of them that we will now give them the peace of mind to take on these rather large boots.
– Familiar people to us and the viewers. The suitable presenters for the topic have been found and we have great confidence that there will be great broadcasts and everything will be successful, Reijonen assures.
On Wednesday, Katja Ståhl updated on social media that she is in the hospital.
– Terkut from Jorvi! Second day in the pulmonary ward. No, I’m not here because I got myself into this situation. I’m here because I got a virus. The doctor said there was nothing I could have done differently. So keep quiet and hope for my recovery, Ståhl wrote.
Last week, Ståhl said on social media that he had been diagnosed with pneumonia. He said at the time that getting sick is hard and Ståhl has been trying to rest for a couple of weeks.
On Saturday The song of my life -as guests of the program will be Kristo Salminen, Matti KyllönenMustafe Muuse, Rinna Kullaa and Sari Havas.
