English star journalist Kate Scott found himself in a surprising situation Wednesday in the middle of CBS Sports’ Champions League soccer broadcast.
Scott reached across the table to give the former US soccer player a fist bump For Clint Dempseywhen his shirt tore.
44-year-old Scott handled the situation professionally. Scott, who has been anchoring CBS’ Champions League coverage since 2020, grabbed his shirt so it wouldn’t fall down and finished his show — without forgetting the humor.

Scott also shared a video of the situation on his own Instagram account, which has around 872,000 followers.
This is not the first torn piece of clothing in the program’s recent history. An ex-football player who is part of the regular staff of the studio by Micah Richards pants ripped in 2023 when Richards impersonated Kylian Mbappe’s ventilation.
– Now you know how it feels! Richards said to Scott immediately after the recent incident.

CBS is an American TV channel, and the popularity of soccer in the United States has grown significantly in recent years.
CBS-owned Paramount acquired the TV rights to the Champions League at the turn of the decade, and Scott and Richards, among others, have been involved in Champions League broadcasts ever since.
