The focus of the renovation is on the technical installations in the basement: air units, central heating boilers, sand filters and the building management system are being renewed. The buffer tank is also being expanded and the solar boiler optimized. The new showers and sanitary facilities are visible to visitors, including an open shower area for better supervision by lifeguards. In addition, the balustrade of the stands will be renovated and raised for extra safety.
Major works are also being carried out on the outside of the building. The lower roof is renovated and insulated, facade panels are re-anchored and the upper walls receive new insulation plates. Additional rainwater wells make it possible to reuse water for toilets.
