Hans (72) traveled through Europe with his wife Wil (73) for 5 years: “Because of Alzheimer’s she no longer knows my name, but she enjoys it”

For years they traveled around Europe together in their camper, even though the Dutch Wil Hanswijk (73) had no idea who the man sitting next to her was. Wil suffered from Alzheimer’s, but her husband Hans (72) still took her everywhere and reported on their travels on Facebook. Thousands of followers watched up close the ‘last walk’ of Wil, who died on Monday.
