The fire alarm went off around 5 p.m. at the Municipal Art Academy on Olmstraat in Waregem. “We received the call,” says the spokesperson for the Fluvia Emergency Zone.
“We believe smoke entered the building due to asphalt paving work on the roof. We are now searching the building to ensure there is no source of fire.”
A little later everyone was able to go back inside because the situation is safe.
