Do you remember? The young stars of Glee died within a few years of each other

The Glee series is known for its humor, but also for the tragic deaths of its actors. PDO

Presented between 2009 and 2015 Gleeseries has delighted many TV viewers over the years.

However, the series is overshadowed by a series of tragedies, when three of its young actors died within seven years.

Cory Monteith

Cory Monteith, who played Finn Hudson in the series, suffered from drug addictions for a long time, which eventually led to his fate.

In June 2013, Monteith was found lifeless in his hotel room.

Monteith’s coroner’s office the papers say that a spoon and a needle intended for drug use were found in the hotel room. Two empty champagne bottles were also found in the room.

In addition to alcohol, heroin was found in Monteith’s blood. He had no external injuries. The cause of death was found to be a combination of the previously mentioned substances.

Despite his difficult life, Monteith was a philanthropic person, and he actively donated to charity.

He was also a skilled drummer, which is why he was often seen in the program with drums in his hands.

Monteith’s death was also considered in the show’s production and in the episode. Montheith died while filming the series’ fifth season.

With his death, the show’s team was given time off, during which a new episode was written in his honor.

The Quarterback -titled episode honored Monteith’s character Finn Hudson, who died between the second and third episodes of the fifth season.

Mark Salling

One of the actors who died young in the series was Mark Salling. He played football player Noah “Puck” Puckerman in the series.

In January 2018, 35-year-old Salling was found hanged in the woods near his apartment, said People.

Before his death, Salling had pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography. Tens of thousands of sexually explicit images of children were eventually found on his computer.

Salling had to participate in a treatment program, which included, among other things, refraining from any kind of contact with minors and staying at least thirty meters away from schools and playgrounds, for example.

Salling was expected to receive four to seven years in prison. However, he never made it to the sentencing, as it would have been a good month after Salling’s death.

Due to his crimes, Salling’s death caused Glee– muted reactions from the creative team. Most of his former colleagues remained silent, but a few mourned publicly.

This was done, for example, by Matthew Morrison, who starred in the series, who posted on Instagram picturewhere he poses with Salling and Monteith. The comment has since been removed from the publication.

Naya Rivera

Naya Rivera, who played the role of a mean girl in the beginning of the series, met a tragic end after drowning in Lake Piru in California in July 2020.

Rivera had taken his four-year-old son out on the water in a rented boat to Jose with. The company that rented the boat became worried when Rivera’s rented boat was not heard back from.

On the boat, they found only the boy Josey, who was sleeping with a life jacket on and wrapped in a blanket. Rivera, on the other hand, had disappeared.

After five days of searching, Rivera’s body was found drowned in the water.

Josey said that they had gone swimming with their mother, Rivera. While swimming back to the boat, he said that Rivera did not make it back to the boat.

According to the local police, the boat probably floated forward on its own while the two were swimming. Rivera had managed to push her child into the boat, but her own strength was not enough to get into the boat herself.

Rivera’s spouse at the time and Josey’s father, Ryan Dorsey, has said that his child spoke about Rivera’s last moments, says People.

“The thing that Josey has said over and over again is that he was trying to find a life raft. He found a rope on the boat, but there was a big spider on it, so he didn’t dare to throw it, Dorsey has said.

– It shocks me that Josey has had to witness his mother’s last moments.

Rivera was 33 years old when he died.
