NAC has only one point left in the Eredivisie match against PEC Zwolle. It became 2-2. Just before half time, the home team still led 2-0.

Both Breda goals were scored by Sydney van Hooijdonk. After more than half an hour, the striker opened the scoring. Seven minutes later it was scored again, from the penalty spot. Koen Kostons made it 1-2 before half time.

About ten minutes after the break it seemed like it would be 3-1, but a goal by (again) Van Hooijdonk was disallowed for offside. In the 67th minute, PEC leveled again: Jamiro Monteiro surprised NAC goalie Daniel Bielica. That’s it.

Due to the draw, NAC missed the chance of a third competition victory. The team of coach Carl Hoefkens is currently number 13 in the rankings, PEC is one place lower.
