Trump to media about Ukraine and Russia: ‘Tomahawk missiles are serious business’
During a meeting Friday with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Washington, Donald Trump called the delivery of Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine “dangerous” and warned that it could lead to escalation. Trump said he sees himself as “the mediating president” between Ukraine and Russia, and emphasized that he wants to end the war as quickly as possible. He also announced a new summit with Vladimir Putin.
