Jaromir Jagr’s incredible career continues.
Jaromir Jagr won’t quit. PDO
A hockey legend Jaromir Jagr it can’t wait to stay away from the rinks – and why should it, if the condition lasts.
Jagr, 53, played for co-owner Rytíři Kladno on Friday night against Vitkovice in the Czech Extraliga.
He played in his team’s foursome. Kladno won the match 3–1. Jagr did not reach the power points.
Jagr played 39 games last season, where he scored five goals and totaled 16 power points.
Jagr has now played at the professional level in an incredible 38 different seasons.
The fact that Jagr’s game number was frozen by the Pittsburgh Penguins in February of last year is also indicative of the Czech legend’s wild career – although Jagr is still playing.
The living legend still has to wait for his induction into the Hockey Hall of Fame. The gallery of honor can be customized three years after the end of the career at the earliest, he says Sportsnet.
Finnish reinforcement of Kladno Niko Ojamäki got an assist on his team’s third hit, which came on a power play. Ojamäki played in the first chain of his team.
