I’m trying to cancel my recently deceased father’s Spotify subscription. On his phone I can easily indicate in his account that the subscription can be stopped. I give the reason as: death. Spotify’s next question is: How likely are you to subscribe again soon? I guess: very unlikely. Spotify confirms my actions with the reassuring text:

‘Saying goodbye hurts, but luckily you can easily come back to Spotify.’
