In the second half Maksims Tonisevs passed his own goalkeeper. Eberechi Eze determined the final score. With two rounds to go, England has 7 points more than number 2 Albania.

Israel not going to the World Cup
Italy beat Israel 3-0 at home. That was the final blow for the country that can now forget about the World Cup.
Mateo Retegui signed for the 1-0 from the penalty spot just before half time. The Italians only doubled their lead fifteen minutes before the end. It was Retequi again who scored against Israel, where Ajax player Oscar Gloukh was in the starting line-up. It was still 3-0. Gianluca Mancini scored in extra time.
Italy has 3 points less than leader Norway in group I. The goal difference of the Norwegians is also much better. There are still two rounds to complete.
The match in Udine was surrounded by strict security measures. Italian authorities deployed more than a thousand police and soldiers to prevent pro-Palestinian demonstrators from getting near the stadium or the Israeli team.
Spain still without losing points
Spain is still without a loss of points after four matches in group E. The home match against Bulgaria ended 4-0, partly thanks to two goals from Mikel Merino. Turkey beat Georgia 4-1 and remains 3 points behind Spain.
