One evening, one album: Ilgen-Nur plays POWER NAP live at the Favoritenplatte Festival on December 19, 2025
Six years have passed since the release of their debut album POWER NAP (2019), but their enchanted indie songs still turn out to be excellent catchy tunes even after all this time. How practical, then, that you will soon have the opportunity to hear the exact album live: On December 19th, the singer-songwriter will appear at the Favoritenplatte Festival in Düsseldorf.

Ilgen-Nur actually wanted to go on tour this spring, but had to cancel the dates at short notice. After that it became quiet for a moment. But now fans – and everyone who wants to become one – have the opportunity to experience the singer and her Slender Indie sound live again.
The Düsseldorf zakk is hosting the ninth edition of its favorite record festival from December 13th to 20th, 2025 – with: Ilgen-Nur. On December 19th, the Berliner by choice will perform the songs from her first album POWER NAP.

Ilgen-Nur: Career start and album plans
Inspired by the Courtney Love quote “I want every girl in the world to pick up a guitar and start screaming,” the then 16-year-old Ilgen-Nur had her parents give her an electric guitar as a gift – the beginning of her journey through the indie world. She continues to do so to this day, has since released an EP and two albums, lives alternately in Berlin and LA and shapes German indie with her uncompromisingly original bedroom rock energy.
ME author Aida Baghernejad wrote at the time: “Ilgen-Nur sums up the overwhelming demands of the present in self-confident sound. And we are only too happy to lose ourselves in her songs between dreams and nightmares.”
Her still current record IT’S ALL HAPPENING was released in 2023. It is not known what the status of a new LP is.
