VfL Bochum has extended the contract of striker Philipp Hofmann (32) by two years until June 30, 2028. The Bundesliga relegated team announced this on Monday. According to the “WAZ“But already in August, when Hofmann received an offer from league rivals Hertha BSC.

He has scored many important goals – not least in the legendary 2024 relegation against Fortuna Düsseldorf – which every VfL fan will surely remember fondly. His importance in the dressing room is also reflected in the fact that he is on the team council and is vice-captain.
