Minister of Justice Verlinden after foiled attack on Prime Minister De Wever: “Freedom of expression among politicians is crucial”

According to Minister of Justice Annelies Verlinden (CD&V), everything must be done to prevent violence against politicians in the interests of democracy. She said this in response to the possible attack that two men from Antwerp planned on, among others, Prime Minister Bart De Wever (N-VA) and the Dutch politician Geert Wilders.
