A cyclist was seriously injured on Sunday evening in a single-vehicle accident on Korenbloemstraat in Odiliapeel. It is unclear what exactly happened.
The man was said to have been found on the street by bystanders. Three police cars, an ambulance and a trauma team rushed to the scene.
The intersection with the Oudedijk was closed with tape. The police on site could not say what had happened but assumed it was a one-vehicle accident.
The man was rushed to hospital.
