Game start
14:51
The Magdeburgers are clearly ahead in the direct comparison, because the SCM won the last seven games against the BHC! The Lions last won against the runner-up in October 2021. Overall, the balance of 20:4 clearly speaks for today’s favorite!
2:37 p.m
At the BHC, a lot of patience had to be exerted in view of the first win of the season: Just last Thursday, the Lions convincingly beat HSG Wetzlar 35:28 in front of their home crowd and thus got the first two points in the seventh game of the season. Bergische HC is currently in second-to-last place in the table – but Minden and TVB Stuttgart are only one and two points ahead.
2:33 p.m
Aside from Flensburg, the SCM is the only team that has not suffered a defeat in the Bundesliga this season. With 11:1 points, the runner-up is also at the top this year and is in fourth place before this home game because Flensburg, Kiel and Gummersbach have each played eight games. With Magnússon, Magdeburg also currently has the HBL’s second best goalscorer.
