32-year-old Yankee Bodar Derek Lunsford has won the title of Mr. Olympia in bodybuilding.
This is the second Mr. Olympia win for Lunsford. The first came in 2023. Last year he ranked in bronze in the race.
However, as early as March, Lunsford reminded after the Arnold Classic victory that honor for winnings is not just for him.
“I may be the one on stage, but I have a whole team that plays an important role in getting my best on the stage,” Lunsford said.
The muscle bouquet acknowledged this year’s Mr. Olympia win for $ 600,000 in prize money. In euros, the amount is about 516,000.
Second in this year’s Mr. Olympia race came Hadi Chopan and third to Andrew Jacked. Silver was $ 200,000 and 100,000 bronze.
