The oldest raver in the country: Isidore is 71 and still dances the night away twice a week in techno clubs

Isidore De Landtsheer is 71 years old. Every Friday, Saturday and public holiday he puts on a clean shirt and dances to techno, electro, house and minimal in the hippest clubs in Ghent. He leaves around one o’clock at night and is rarely back home before seven in the morning. “I almost died when I was eighteen. You have to take advantage of life every day, I learned then, because it can be over in an instant.”
