Due to a collision between Meppel and Steenwijk, no trains ran on the route this morning. The NS used express buses as replacement transport.
The accident happened around 9:15 am this morning. Train traffic resumed around 1:15 p.m.
Traffic on the road also had to take delays into account. The Steenwijkerstraatweg between Meppel and Nijeveen in the direction of Steenwijk was closed due to emergency services on the road.
