Just before 10 a.m., a woman in a passenger car wanted to overtake an all-terrain vehicle with a horse trailer in the left lane. For some unknown reason, she hit the back of the trailer. The passenger car rolled over several times and came to a stop on its roof. The SUV came to a standstill across the road, completely blocking the highway. The woman was taken to hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the SUV was uninjured.
The accident caused a long traffic jam on the E403 and the roads around it. All lanes were cleared again around 11.15 am and traffic could flow again.
