JC Switzerland Holding AG, based in Zug, Switzerland, has appointed Sergio Odriozola as Managing Director of JC Brand AG, which was founded at the end of July.

The parent company of the Düsseldorf clothing retailer Peek & Cloppenburg stated that JC Brand will in future take over the group’s own brand business, including the International Brands Company (IBC). The aim is to build a private label organization that is tailored to “Peek & Cloppenburg’s brand DNA, market needs and economic objectives,” according to a statement.

According to the company, Odriozola, who has already worked for well-known companies such as Inditex, Mango, Zalando, Banana Republic and Hoff over the course of his career, will take over the overall management of JC Brand and in this role will report directly to the board of directors of JC Switzerland.

Brigitte Danielmeyer and Inmaculada Olmos Garcia also take on leadership roles

Reporting to him will be Brigitte Danielmeyer and Inmaculada Olmos Garcia, who will also take on management roles at JC Brand. Danielmeyer, who has many years of management experience at numerous well-known clothing suppliers, will lead the entire private label portfolio of JC Brand AG and the International Brands Company and, among other things, will “drive the strategic direction and innovation of important brands such as Jakes, Review, McNeal and Christian Berg”. Her tasks also include the development of a new premium label for women’s and men’s fashion.

Olmos Garcia will lead the newly founded creative headquarters in the Spanish capital Madrid. “The new office will serve as a design and concept center focused on the development of private labels inspired by the Mediterranean lifestyle and aesthetics,” it said in a statement. In her role, Olmos Garcia will “determine the creative direction of the new brands” and “contribute to the group’s overall internationalization strategy.”
