What happened? On Sunday evening shortly after 11 p.m. there is a handgam between in the wine tent at the Oktoberfest. Sané had therefore been verbally tackled by a table with fans of FC Bayern. So these are said to have accused him of moving from Munich to Istanbul. Words such as “Scheiß-Gala”, an insult to Sané’s new club Galatasaray, are also said to have been used.
According to the report, the insults did not stop. The result: Sané apparently started a guest. Security staff stepped in and ended the handmade.
The long -time German international explained the situation afterwards. He was “provoked and personally insulted over a longer period of time” in the tent, just like his club Galatasaray. “In the heated atmosphere, I was also pushed and then there was a short wrangling,” said Sané, who then admitted: “But at the moment I should of course have reacted more relaxed and switched to it.” He takes that for himself.
The police did not have to be called, as Christine da Silva, spokeswoman for the Kuffler group confirmed. The wine tent at the Oktoberfest belongs to the catering company. “There was a small security incident on the gallery on Sunday evening, which the security forces were modernized and could thus solve peacefully,” said Silva.
Sané had played for FC Bayern from 2020 to 2025 and had become four times German champion with the team. In the summer the ex-Schalker joined Galatsaray.
