The HSV women conceded the second defeat of the season in the Bundesliga. The team of trainer Liese Brancao lost on Monday evening at the Volksparkstadion deservedly against TSG Hoffenheim with 1: 4 (0: 2).
The Hamburg women played again and again, but were only grown in the structured and concentrated appearance of the Kraichgau women in very few phases of the game. In addition, they simply made too many mistakes to score.
Because not only the TSG hits by Melissa Kössler (19th) and Valesca Ampoorter (27th) in the first half were favored by HSV women’s mistresses. Otherwise they also had some uncertainties in their game, especially on the defensive. Jamilla Rankin (58th) and Kössler with her second goal (90.+1) made everything clear in the second round, Melanie Brunnthaler made the deserved honor goal (86th).

Kössler meets Schuldt-Patzer

Hoffenheim scores the 2-0 – and misses more goals
The second goal of the evening, however, fell again on the other – and again under kind using the Hamburgers. At a corner from the left side, amporers actually jumped too far from the foot, but since two HSV defenders could not clarify, the Belgian got a second chance and hit the left corner (27th).
The Brancao team was quite impressed by this second goal, the pressing looked half-hearted, and hardly anything succeeded in the offensive. Rather, the hosts were lucky that Selina Cerci scored a ball next to the goal (38th) and schooled a shot from Jill Janssens just scratched the line (41.).
Brunnthaler succeeds in the HSV honorary goal
The third goal of the guests was only postponed: in the 52nd minute, Cerci missed her next big chance when she took a short distance over the goal, but a little later Rankin followed after a school duty parade and pressed the ball over the line (58.).
The encounter was therefore decided early. The HSV women were rewarded shortly before the end for their good morall with the goal to 1: 3. Brunnthaler extended a corner from the left side strongly into the goal (87th) and ensured party mood among fans in the Volkspark, who had supported their team loudly across the entire game.
There was no more against the ripped off team of coach Dedes Theodoros, for which Kössler scored the fourth goal in added time (90.+1), that evening.
