Basketball super promise Miikka Muurinen18, plays his first match on Monday in Belgrade Grand Club in Partizan.
Muurinen has been named to the line -up in the home match against the Slovenian KK KRKA in the opening round of the Adrian Sea League.
Partizan is one of the top European clubs and is the dominant champion of the Adriatic League. Partizan has won the league for a total of eight times.
In addition to the Adriatic League, the club plays in the Euroleague, which is considered the second toughest series in the world after the NBA.
Muurinen’s debut starts at 7pm and expectations around the Finnish youth are high.
The transfer of a young basketball star to Partizan in September surprised the basketball world. He has played in the United States in the United States for the previous years.
He is now another Finn in history who represents Partizan. Earlier Jamar Wilson played with the company in 2015-16.
