Anette from Hoogeveen has won 215,000 euros in the TV program Postcode Loterij Miljoenenjacht. She did that during the golden suitcase game.
Anette played other candidates in the program and so she was allowed to stand next to presenter Linda de Mol to play the suitcase game. She chose to play with suitcase 5. “My husband dreamed about that,” she explained. Man Gary was allowed to provide her with advice in the studio.
In the game, the finalist chooses a suitcase with an unknown amount. By opening other suitcases, amounts are played away. Based on the amount of the amounts that are still in the game, the bank makes an offer.
Anette was allowed to choose to sell her suitcase with such a bid, or play. She let 91,000 euros run. With a bid of 215,000 euros she did agree. “I am satisfied,” she said.
Immediately after accepting the bid, she opened suitcases with the highest amounts. The next bid would therefore have been considerably lower. In the end it turned out that her suitcase was a check with 10,000 euros.
In the past there were more often Drenthe winners at Miljoenenjacht. Three years ago Bertha from Ubbena ran away with almost half a million.
