A motocross rider was injured this afternoon at Havelte during the Off The Roadrit Steenwijk. Several emergency services came to the course, including a trauma helicopter.
The cross over the muddy course was temporarily shut down after the incident, the victim was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
The 36th Off The Roadrit Steenwijk of MC De Stoomfiets is being driven entirely on the defense site near Havelte. Both motorbikes and quads participate in the event.
