Defending champion Galatasaray also remained unbeaten in the eighth Süper-Lig game of the season, but did not win for the first time. In the Istanbul derby against Besiktas, the lions played 1-1 (0: 1) on Saturday evening. Galatasaray, with 22 points, still leads the table well in front of Trabzonspor (17). Fenerbahce can jump in second place at Samsunspor with coach Thomas Reis on Sunday evening (7 p.m.).
Besiktas had taken the lead in Rams Park by new storms Tammy Abraham in the 12th minute. Ex-DFB captain İlkay Gündoğan (55th) with his debutor after moving to Galatasaray in early September. The reigning master had already outnumbered 20 minutes at the time after defender Davinson Sánchez was off the pitch in the 34th minute after an emergency brake.
