The lions report back against Viktoria Köln with a fighting spirit. Under interim coach Alper Kayabunar, the TSV 1860 was able to end the defeat series, but despite numerous opportunities and overnight outnumbered it was not enough to win.
Interim coach Alper Kayabunar has achieved a hard-won 2-2 draw with the TSV 1860 Munich in the home game against Viktoria Köln. Despite the majority, the lion did not want to win the lion on matchday 9 of the 3rd division. After all, the series of defeat came to an end. “It doesn’t feel so good yet because there were three points in it,” said Alper Kayabunar at BR24Sport. “We hit everything in, in the end the point is very valuable for us.”
Dampers to the start
In game one after the dismissal of coach Patrick Glöckner, Viktoria Köln was immediately heated into the game. A penalty brought the hosts behind in the first few minutes.
Lex-Tyger Lobinger’s header had been blocked by a Munich defender. Lobinger (4 ‘) converted the penalty to 0: 1 for Cologne. The quick 0: 2 of the guests followed on the shock. David Otto (8`) had sunk the ball from an acute angle over René Vollath into the mesh.
Volland has to be injured
The lions clapped and tried to answer a quick answer. Niederlechner’s conclusion was blocked by his own man in the narrowly occupied penalty area. The leather landed at Kevin Volland, which just dropped past the angle. For the former Bundesliga striker, however, it went into the cabin prematurely. Cologne’s Lars Dietz unintentionally stepped onto the full base on the ground. He could not continue and was replaced by Sigurd Haugen (24 ‘).
Christiansen with the first goal of the season
In the 36th minute, the Munich team were close to the connection goal. Dietz collected the second yellow card and had to get off the square. However, the lions did not accommodate the free kick from a promising position in the Cologne gate.
The first goal of Max Christiansen (41 ‘)’s season then made the hosts shortly before the break. From 25 meters, the 29-year-old chased the leather into the mesh. With the hopeful 1: 2 we went into the cabin.
Compensation by Hobsch
The lions clearly caught the better start in the second half. A flank from the left wing reached the substitute Patrick Hobsch half left in the box. He put the header in the mesh to 2-2. In 1860 the majority used and pushed for the lead. However, a hit by Niederlechner (55 ‘) did not count.
Despite the excess no victory
The Cologne team now had to really fell in their own penalty area in order to prevent Munich’s further goal. Wolfram, Dulic, Niederlechner and Hobsch failed – keeper Dudu was challenged in the permanent pressure of the lions, but was able to prevent the 3-2 of the hosts by good parades.
