The transfer market in Germany has been closed since September 1st. Four players left the HSV on loan. How do you feel about your new clubs?
Hamburger SV has had a big upheaval: 13 professionals left the Bundesliga promoters in the summer of 2025. However, four departures still have a future on the Elbe-the HSV gave them so that they can collect more game practice in another league.
Two of them switched to an earlier promotion competitor from the 2nd Bundesliga for one season: midfielder Lukasz Poreba and Sturm hope Otto Stange are currently playing at SV Elversberg.
Both HSV loan gives a strong impression in the first few weeks. Lukasz Poreba has been used in all seven games since his change. Most recently, the 25-year-old Pole was in the starting eleven five times in a row and prepared two goals-including the 2-2 equalization against Dynamo Dresden at the last second.
Otto Stange also showed himself to be a last minute hero for SV Elversberg: after his substitution in the 76th minute, the 18-year-old scored in the 90th+5 from the penalty point to the decisive 1-0. Previously, Stange had prepared two goals in the 4-1 win in Braunschweig. For his achievements, he was rewarded with a nomination for the German U19 national team.
The positive development did not escape the HSV: “It was interesting to see how Lukasz and Otto present themselves in training and how well they are already integrated in the team,” said Stefan Kuntz recently after a visit to Elversberg.
Joel Agyekum is currently less playing at the third division club Viktoria Cologne. The 20-year-old central defender was in the squad in all four third division games, but only came from the bank twice. In the state cup game against VfL Vichtal, Agyekum recently completed the full 90 minutes for his rental association for the first time.
Midfielder Anssi Suhonen has been kicking in the Swedish Allsvenskan (1st league) for Austria since the summer. Since his change, the 24-year-old Finn has stood in the starting eleven in all nine games and only missed 26 minutes. So far, he has not achieved a goal participation. Nevertheless, he was again invited to the Finnish national team.
