The investigation team currently keeps all the options open what may have happened with the 25-year-old Tijn from Alkmaar. Since Sunday, September 14, he has been given up missing. Family and friends have been worried since then.

The Noord-Holland police make an urgent call to the public in the search for Tijn, which is now missing for two weeks. A Team Large -scale Investigation (TGO) has been put on the case, and all scenarios – also a crime – are kept open. “We are a lot of worries, just like Tijn’s family and friends. We hope that this call will talk to people with us and want to tip,” says Erwin Sintenie of Police Noord-Holland.

Trace -free

Tijn is a man of 25 years, 1 meter 73 long, with a light skin color, brown eyes and short, reddish hair. He has a normal build and wore a black jacket from the Moncler and White Nikes brand when he disappeared.

He possibly rode a silver or light -colored ladies’ bike from the Cortina brand with a rack in front. His suspected bicycle has since been found, but Van Tijn is still missing.

Timeline

The police have drawn up a timeline and calls on people in Alkmaar and the surrounding area to check camera images of specific times and locations. The images of Friday 12 September, between 2:30 PM and 3:30 PM, of the route between the Daalmeer district and Park Rekerhout are important.

Images in the vicinity of Deurlooplein and De Mare shopping center between 2:30 PM and 24:00 can also be of great importance. Furthermore, information about a possible last observation on Monday 15 September, between 8 p.m. and 11 p.m., near Dollardstraat.

Time is penetrating

“We hope that people take a good look at their images,” says Sintenie. “Time is running out, because many camera images are automatically deleted after a few weeks. Possibly usable information may be lost forever.”

Anyone who has information about Tijn’s loss, is urgently requested to contact the police or to do that anonymously.
