Heavy of the cinema at the end of October
The 33-year-old plays the leading role in the Springsteen-Biopic “Deliver Me From Nowhere”. It addresses the emergence of Bruce Springsteens album Nebraska. In Germany, the film is to be released on October 23, 2025.
In an interview with “GQ”, Jeremy recently spoke to all white about his comprehensive preparations for his part as “The Boss”. “I am really lucky that there is now something like a team that helps young actors to authentically represent rock stars. I have a really talented group of people who help me with vocal and musical training to prepare for this role,” says the actor. This special training encompasses intensive musical coaching to ensure that the mime not only looks like jump streams – but also sounds that way.
White raves about Springsteen’s support
As part of his preparations, White also met Springsteen. “I had a bit of access to him and he’s just the greatest guy,” enthused the “Shameless” actor in the interview. He also emphasized how much the rock star’s support motivated him: “Springsteen really supports the project. It is an incredible honor to have his support and to get in touch with him.”
“Deliver Me From Nowhere” is based on the book “Deliver Me from Nowhere: The Making of Bruce Springsteen’s Nebraska” by Warren Zane published in 2023. Scott Cooper wrote the script and also directs. The album Nebraska, which was released in 1982, is considered one of the most personal works in Springsteen’s career.
