Lennart Karl received his first market value of 1.5 million euros at the club world championship after his professional debut in mid-June-the same thing is now the case with his teammate at FC Bayern Munich, Wisdom Mike. The 17 -year -old foreign striker was substituted for Luis Díaz on Friday evening at 4-0 against Werder Bremen in the 84th minute for Luis Díaz. With exactly 17 years and two days, Mike has been the second youngest Bavaria debutant in history and in tenth place in the Bundesliga since 1963.

The first game in the professional area for Mike, who was still active at the U17 European Championship in May, also means the first market value: it is initially assessed at 1.5 million euros and is therefore at a level with Karl and today’s international Karim Adeyemi when he made his debut in Austria in 2018. Only four German U18 talents were estimated in the transfer market history at the start.
“Mike is one of the greatest talents at Bayern,” says Tobias Kröger, market value coordinator at the transfer market. “He takes a similar start to Karl and a development like his long-time teammate from the youth teams, who has already taken the next step in the top-class Munich squad, can definitely be trusted. For the market value update on October 14, we are definitely open to go up, with Mike, and of course also at Karl.”
Company praises Bavaria debutant Mike: “No show use”
Since moving from the youth Borussia Mönchengladbachs (Correction: Here was MSV Duisburg, but he only played there until 2019) After Munich in the summer of 2022, Mike was only in the field with Moritz Göttlicher (17) as often as with Karl. Trainer Vincent Kompany has it in hand to expand these statistics in the coming months. Mike “deserves” his debut, said the Belgian after the Werder game at “Sky”: “It is not a show, it is a deserved effort for a boy who may have a future at FC Bayern.” In such cases, Kompany always consciously “”, because: “This is not a matter of course, they are very young, they have to do everything right, but what I have seen so far, the boy deserves it and we will also support him.”
