Snoop Dogg is currently celebrating a real Renaissance. As a torchbore of the US delegation at the Olympic Games in Paris, the unimpressed rapper already flew all hearts (he is also said to have received around nine million dollars as the “Olympic ambassador” of the United States). Then he appeared in Los Angeles at the accompanying ceremony for the Olympic final-in 2028 the next summer games will be played in LA.
Incidentally, the 52-year-old from all kinds of anecdotes from his musician life. At a first meeting with Paul McCartney, he is said to have planned to let old habits – and express his joint so that Macca and he can talk in peace. However, the Beatles legend made it clear: Leave the joint calmly, don’t bother me!
The Ami and the Briton once met at a concert in Hollywood, as Snoop put on “Complex”.

The rapper continued that he quickly “kept the stub” out of respect for Macca. Which would not have been necessary, as Snoop had to fix: “[Er] Come into the room and say: ‘Don’t put it away’, continues Snoop. “He hugs me and comes towards me, and I think: ‘Fuck. Paul McCartney knows who is the hell Snoop Dogg’.
When the interviewer pointed out that Snoop was just as famous (really flattering), he replied: “No, you don’t listen to me. Fuck me who is Snoop Dogg! That’s Paul McCartney, he knows who I am.”
Snoop added: “This is the experience I love when the people you respect you respect you. And that only works if you make good shit.”
The rapper is a real marijuana freak, opened a “dope pharmacy” in LA. McCartney, never completely averse to the drugs during Beatles times, has no longer smoked no more for his grandchildren since 2015, as he once said.
