In addition to a passionate athlete, Severi Allonen, who won the title of Finland’s title, is the father of a little girl.

Severi Allonen – Finland’s strongest man in the year 2024 – is a former racing swimmer, a passionate strength trainee, some influencer, spouse and the father of a little girl.

Initially, becoming a father seemed confusing, and the athlete’s life made it a whole new dimension.

Allenen started racing at the age of six in a swimmer’s career, which took him almost all of his free time. In the hard workout culture of the 90s, the idea was that a lot of time to practice at a young age.

-There were actually workouts every day in primary school, then those other hobbies were missed, he describes.

However, as a teenager, strength training became part of the life of a racing athlete, and Allonen found himself enjoying pound training.

“I was always very strong as a swimmer and knew already in the swimming times that when this career ended, I start doing a good pound,” he says.

When swimming stayed, Allonen switched to powerlifting and gym training. The power of the power was slowly interested, and Korona’s closed hall led him to a new training ground, where he met the sport enthusiasts.

– For four years, I was training and then started wondering if that power should somehow go somewhere.

He ended up in the first power racing in a half -injured friend – and won right away. In the same year, he reached third in the Finnish Strongest Man competition.

– After all, I had no dream to start competing in the actual competitive.

However, after a couple of years, in 2024, he won the title of Finland’s strongest man.

Paternity

Allen says that becoming a father was a confusing experience at first: When he arrived home from the maternity hood, he carried the baby in the rink and wondered where to put it. It was only as the child grew up that the bond between the father and the child became significantly strengthened.

“Actually, when the baby started to smile and pointing back the reactions, his own bond with the baby was significantly strengthened,” he recalls.

In the early stages of fatherhood, he also wondered a lot of one thing:

– As the baby got home, I wondered why his father’s well -being did not seem to interest anyone. Friends, loved ones, clinic – no one asks or teaches anything. Of course, the mother’s role is bigger, but it still surprised her father would not be given any instructions or support, he wondered.

However, Allonen states that he could not ask himself for help. He believes that if he had been able to ask, he would have received it.

Having a child changed all of all about Allonen’s attitude to sports: life became less executed and “when” thinking. In addition, he learned to appreciate the moment here and now.

– After I had a baby, sports are just sports for me. I try to remind myself that bad workouts or breaks are not the end of the world – there are much more important things in life. It’s been a big change.

Somebody

Allonen has hundreds of thousands of followers in Somme, especially in Tikkek, where there are almost 170,000 of them. Content production started in a midst of the event: he originally updated the training stuff to Somme and noticed that people, especially atlasts, were of interest to people. Eventually, interest grew so that he got his own stone for training.

– It’s funny how it became such a big phenomenon, it really wasn’t my intention, he laughs.

Allonen has a popular video series on social media channels that follow his attempts to destroy a 100-pound atlas “Antsa”. Among other things, the stone has been thrown on a machine, dropped from the bridge and even attempted to blow up.

The relaxed and relaxed empowering Allenen also enjoys content production because you can break stereotypes from powerers.

“Often somme is presented with anger, macho and hardness, but I want to show that big and strong, even scary men can be surprisingly relaxed – just like anyone you meet on the street,” he says.

According to him, large -scale powerful powerers participating in the Finnish Strong Men competition are often very relaxed and relaxed in nature -like he is.

– There (behind the scenes) laughing and telling jokes. It is nothing to do with murmur, rushes and being angry, he describes.

Allonen no longer has big goals in sports, even though he still promises to participate in the power races. However, sports no longer guide life as it would take too much time out of the family.

– For each of their time – much of my life came to sports earlier, but I no longer want to go with that sled. Today, sports are just sports.

According to Allonen, a racing athlete’s career is behind, and nowadays he enjoys sports as a hobby. Maarit Pohjanpalo
