The English U21 national player Nico O’reilly has extended his contract with Manchester City by 2028 by another two years. The Citizens announced this on Friday evening.
The 20 -year -old all -rounder, who can play in the central midfield or as a left -back, is well on the way to playing firmly into the team of coach Pep Guardiola. In seven competitive games so far he was in six in the field, four times of them in the starting eleven. The O’Reilly, born in Manchester, gave his professional debut in the English Supercup in August 2024. Since then, there have been 26 further missions for City, five goals and two templates. He already screwed his market value to 18 million euros – and the trend is rising.
