Brussels parquet opens research after 9 dead in retirement homes by Stec-Bes making: raw beef minus “most likely source”

The Brussels public prosecutor has opened a judicial investigation in response to the Stec bees in the Belgian residential care centers in August. The Brussels public prosecutor confirms this to VTM News. Earlier today, the Federal Agency for the Safety of the Food Chain (FAVV) reported in a joint press release with regional health authorities Department of Zorg, Aviq and Vivalis that raw minced beef was probably at the source of infections. Nine retirement home residents let life go through the outbreak.
