An accident had happened at the end of the highway, at the intersection with the Noorderring. Three vehicles became involved. Two people had to go to the hospital, but there were no serious injuries. The traffic that came to Kortrijk was just distracted via Zonnebeke.
One of the drivers involved would have been driven through the red.
