UN model that works, and has given excellent results, does not stop. Indeed, it relaunches. This is precisely what happens to the Veneto Tenseo model (theater, school and employment), which thanks to the collaboration agreement between the Teatro Stabile del Veneto – National Theater, and the Veneto Region, has just been renewed for another three years. It is a training project for young aspiring actors who do not end in the “school”, that is, theCarlo Goldoni theater academy of Venicebut follows and accompanies the boys also in view of their insertion into the labor market, through different initiatives.
The path is supported by an important loan: 2 million euros, of which 1.2 come from the Veneto Region, while the Stabile Theater contributes with 800 thousand euros. The admission announcement for the three -year period 2025/28 is online (registrations open until 7 October).
In the first two years, the aspiring actors and actresses (in 2025 they enter 14) follow the lessons in the Carlo Goldoni theater in Venice, the oldest in the city, where learn the indispensable tools and techniques for the profession of actor such as acting, voice, singing, movement Meanwhile, they also learn to stay on the stage. The third year, which takes place at the Verdi Theater in Padua, has a more seminar imprint. Meanwhile, the boys begin to be scripted and paid for their first shows, such as The morbinosestaged in February of this year in Padua. In addition, students can participate in the Erasmus + program which encourages exchanges with international academies.
The Morbinose, by Carlo Goldoni, directed by Giuseppe Emiliani, with the students and students of the theater academy Carlo Goldoni, was staged in February of this year in Padua.
The Teatro Stabile del Veneto in the first places for employment rate
The program does not end with the diploma: finished the three -year period, the Teseo project allows you to access different professional opportunities, which are divided into three initiatives: first test, that is, a first theatrical production for newly new ones; there Youth Company, which since 2018 has already involved over 100 boys in 20 original productions within the billboard of the Stabile Theater; Maturation, to solicit groups of former students to propose independent projects.
“I am deeply convinced that a national theater has a duty to believe in young people not only forming them but making them protagonists within the programming,” said Giampiero Beltotto, president of the Teatro Stabile del Veneto Foundation – National Theater. “Since 2018, the Teatro Stabile del Veneto has intercepted, accompanied and brought hundreds of young people to the academy on the stage”.
