Tonight Darta is organizing an information meeting for local residents. This is part of a few experience days around wind energy at the company. The plans for the first turbine encountered some objections from local residents. Whether this will again be the case with the second turbine is still to be seen.
“The permit application for the first turbine was submitted in 2018 and we were able to build the turbine in 2022,” explains An Scharubouck of Aspirvi. “We hope to submit the permit application for the second this year. Then we have to wait and see how the file will continue.”
If everything goes according to plan, the second turbine can be operational in about two years.
