MIlano, 23 sets. (askanews) – A dress as a way of telling the silent embrace of a land, fashion as a voice of a country, of its people, of its soul. These are the ideas they guided The photographic project “Italy in fashion” by Andrea Varani With the model Ludmilla Voronkina Bozzetti. The result is an exhibition in the Deloitte Gallery in Milan, in the defrosting church of San Paolo Converso, a 16th century jewel which today is part of the Deloitte campus.

“I have been working in fashion photography for more than 40 years – said Varani to Askanews – and this time I tried to use photography not limiting myself to fashion, but going a little further, to try to tell our country a little, Italy. The narration is born when there is one fusion between fashion and the landscape, when they are no longer single, distinct entities, but they merge together at that point it becomes narrative“.
