Anthony Frans from Tilburg is very shocked. On Sunday night an explosive went off at his house at the Professor Kernkampstraat. The windshield is largely out of it and for the time being there is temporarily a thin replacement window. Anthony sleeps exactly above it. “We have been living here for 25 years and I have never had a trammelant,” he says. So now. “I don’t think I can sleep well tonight.”

Anthony has just painted his blacken frame and tells what happened in the night from Sunday to Monday. “It was about four in the morning when I heard a big bang. When I opened the window, I saw flames.”

The police arrived quickly. Why an explosive went off at his house, says Anthony does not know. “I don’t have any enemies, so I don’t know why it is. This is deliberately.” There was still an explosive at the house, but that did not end.

“Now I have hung a camera myself. For my safety.”

His neighbor’s security camera recorded the incident. “There you see a boy running away with a hood,” says Anthony. He estimates him about sixteen years old. “Now I have hung a camera myself. For my safety.”

Anthony lives with his wife, who is a childminder. She could not take care of children on Monday.

No one was injured in the explosion, but the shock is good. “In six weeks the new window can only be set,” he says.
