Anneke Jansen-Benes from Emmen has been appointed as a Member of the Order of Oranje-Nassau.
She receives the Royal Award for her many years of volunteering at Handball Association SVBO from Emmen.
Anneke Jansen-Benes has been a board member since 1975 and, among other things, provided the team layout in consultation with the youth trainers. She also gave training herself. Furthermore, Jansen-Benes was a coach of youth teams for years who became champions in both the hall and the field.
As a board member, she was also jointly responsible for the competition secretariat and the member and federal administration. Anneke Jansen-Benes received the ribbon pinned by Mayor Eric van Oosterhout.
