Last week, Jakob Johnson caused a stir with a blocked punt in the NFL. Now the German Fullback is rewarded by the Houston Texans.
As the Houston Texans officially confirmed, Jakob Johnson was promoted to the active squad by Practise Squad.
The Fullback was already in the team’s matchday squad in the first two weeks. In the duel with the Tampa Bay Buccaners (19:20), the native of Stuttgart caused a stir with a blocked punt.
The Houston Texans could only have activated the 30-year-old as part of the Practise Squad. Through the new contract for the 53 squad, Johnson can play the rest of the NFL season in every match.
The Houston Texans will meet Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday (7 p.m. CET).
