During a blazing fire in a care home on Bernhardstraat in Schijndel, a man was arrested on Saturday evening. He threatened agents with a bat and was then eliminated and arrested with the help of a power surge weapon. It is not known whether and how many people were injured.
The arrested man would be the resident of the house where fire raged. He probably set fire to his home.
The fire was accompanied by considerable smoke development. Several fire brigade units, police and ambulance came to the house. The fire brigade managed to prevent transfer from the fire. As far as we know, the care home has completely burned out.
According to a witness, the ambulance drove away under the supervision of the police.
