Jannik Sinner is one of the best in the tennis world. A rapper wrote a song and compared him to Hitler. Now the musician reported again.

He triggered a wave of outrage, now Fedez rowed back: Italy’s rap star causes violent criticism with a song about Jannik Sinner-and now apologized. At a concert in Milan, the musician spoke of a “huge mess” that he triggered with the new song. “The only thing I can do is apologize,” said the 35-year-old on stage.

Sinner comes from Sexten in South Tyrol, a region in which many people speak both German and Italian. So far, the 24-year-old himself has not commented on the controversial passage. Whether Fedez – bourgeois Federico Leonardo Lucia – also reported directly to Sinner, he left open. In Italy, the comparison had triggered.

The rapper became known with songs like “Prima di Ogni Cosa” and was temporarily married to influencer Chiara Ferragni. Together the former couple has two children. Also because of a common TV documentary series, the duo was often in public. The two are now divorced.

Fedez, who has had legal disputes several times in the past, continues to count 13.5 million followers on Instagram.
