“The atmosphere is just super cool,” says Stan Niesten about the Dam tot Damloop. The athlete from Beverwijk takes his sport very seriously, but he has an eye for what is happening around him. “It’s fantastic if there are so many people on the side, that only helps me.”
Different every time
Elizeba Franken-Cherono is also looking forward to Sunday. “It is different every time and I really like the audience along the way.” The 37-year-old athlete is participating for the 4th time on Sunday.
