FC Hansa Rostock has set an exclamation mark with a gala performance after his bumpy start into the new season of the 3rd division. The team of coach Daniel Brinkmann defeated TSV 1860 Munich 2-1 (2-0) on Wednesday evening and played in the first section as in the intoxication.
Benno Dietze (31st) and Maximilian Krauss (34th) laid the foundation stone for the second win of Mecklenburger, who impressively dominated the guest in the first 45 minutes before the break. A higher half -time lead would have been possible for the Hanseatic – actually even absolutely necessary in view of the oppressive superiority.
After the change of sides, the North Germans demonstrated their defensive qualities against form improvers. It was only in the final phase after Sean Dulic (89. )’s connection goal did the home team get a little swimming. But that could not reduce the good overall impression.
On Saturday, Hansa must now confirm this performance if the away game at Rot-Weiss Essen is on the program. The NDR shows the game live on TV from 2 p.m. and here at NDR.de.
Hansa as unleashed from the start
Hansa was not recognizable from the start compared to the first, rather uninspired season games. The Brinkmann team sprayed with joy and put the guests with a high pressing and excellent duel guidance under pressure to act.
And the “lions” in the first section had grown at no time at any time. The previously unbeaten Munich were involuntary extras in a gala performance by FC Hansa.
Dietze and Krauss meet for Rostock
Rostock racked. Rostock ran. And Rostock finally went to risk in the last third of the field. Franz Pfanne (2nd), Emil Holten (6th/Latte, 27th) and Krauss (16th) had good chances for 1-0. But only in -house Dietze rewarded the hosts with a considered shot in the right lower corner for their enormously high effort. Krauss had put on the 22-year-old.
180 seconds later, the big hour of the man hit the high forehead. After a pass from Dietze, the bald-headed pace dribbler picked up speed, left three Munich defenders and pushed the ball into the net under goalkeeper Thomas Dähne. The great solo was the highlight of an outstanding performance of the Mecklenburger in the first round.
Disappointed in 1860 – Verlaat injured replaced
And the “lions”? The team of former Hansa coach Patrick Glöckner disappointed in the first section. Pech joined the sporting minus performance: Captain and head of defense Jesper Verlaat had to be replaced with a bandaged thigh before the break.
Munich comes up after half -time
After the change of sides and a frightened second, when Dietze Volley missed the 3-0 (47th), the guests knew how to increase considerably. Substitute Tunay Deniz had the chance to hit the connection after a bad pass from Hansa keeper Benjamin Uphoff, but failed due to Ahmet Gürleyen, who saved a head just before the line (50th).
Afterwards, the Munich people pushed to 1: 2 with vehemence and approached the Rostock housing more times. The home team, which is hardly required in half one, now had to do hard defense work. Not an unsolvable problem for the Brinkmann protégés who had only allowed two goals in the previous five games.
And the defense was also certain against the “lions”. Only after Dulic’s connecting goal, which was successful after a corner kick from near -distance dance, did the hosts still had to survive one or two dangerous situations. In the end, however, the completely deserved Rostock was successful.
